Nice list Memphremagog, I've been looking for "The Black Scorpion" for a while. Can't find an affordable copy. There's a used one Amazon for about $20, but that's a bit high for one dvd IMO.
I checked evilBay after I read this and I had no idea people were asking so much for these! I remember picking mine up in a group of monster DVDs a few years ago for around 5 bucks a DVD. It was an eBay auction and I think I was the only bidder. It constantly amazes me how things unexpectedly escalate in price, especially monster related things. Great '50s Big Bug Movie BTW. The close-ups of the scorpions' faces are a bit cheezy, but the stop-motion is great (Willis O'Brien). And Mara Corday is always a welcome sight.

King Kong 1933 (Blue-Ray)

The ending still makes me sad after all these viewings. Can't they just leave the big guy alone???

Horror of Dracula dvd

I gotta say, this movie still plays great, it is as fun and suspenseful as it was way back when.  And it still looks fantastic.
Beautiful moving, shifting colors!

Mord

Children of the Corn II & III - I hadn't seen them so I gave 'em a try. So-so,

Phantom Stranger

'Fright Night' (1985)
-Roddy McDowell

Plot: A young man enlists the aid of an aging horror actor, when he finds out his neighbor is a vampire.

Phantoms Review: One of my favorite films. Filled with humor, scare and homages to classic films.  AVOID THE REMAKE AT ALL COSTS!  Watch the original and enjoy.

Creatures The World Forgot (1971)

Hammer's final cavewoman flick. It's no One Million Years BC or When Dinosaurs Ruled The Earth but it's still not bad. This film has caught a lot of grief for it's lack of stop-motion dinosaurs, or dinosaurs period for that matter, but it's still more stylish and entertaining than many of the multi-million dollar CGI fests that we have been assaulted by in the last few years.

BTW, not having dinosaurs existing with people actually makes this one more scientifically correct. But, we much prefer to go to that cinematic alternate dimension with Raquel Welch and Victoria Vetri in constant peril of being eaten by fierce dinosaurs and losing their skimpy prehistoric bikinis. Give me Hammer prehistoric times over the real deal anytime.

Here's a little Julie Ege to give you a good reason to check this flick out.
