You're in for a treat. The Hammer Mummy is one of the very best Mummy films ever.

Got to it a little late.  Good film, though not my favorite Lee/Cushing pairing.  Hate to see Lee buried under all that makeup.

Got my wife to watch the original "A Nightmare on Elm Street" over the weekend.  It holds up a bit better than most 80s horror films.

Oh well. It's straight Universal from here on out until Halloween.  I watch them every year to get in the proper holiday spirit.

Nosferatu79

Scream, Blacula, Scream (1973)
(It made me wish the 1970's never ended, and that we were on Blacula film number 45 or so, with the fantastic William Marshall STILL in the role!)

Godzilla (2014) Meh, once Cranston died off mostly left with pretty folk trying to act...

The Thing from Another World (1951) Now we're talkin'...

"Blacula"; "Scream, Blacula, Scream"; and "John Carpenter's The Thing". Also caught "The Wiz", which is even more wretched than I remembered it.

Phantom Stranger

Today is October 20th, on this date in 1882 , the immortal Bela Lugosi was born. To commemorate this occasion,  I'm watching a Lugosi double feature:

1) Dracula (1931)
2) The Return Of The Vampire (1944)

Both are required viewing for Halloween month  thrhrt
