just a thought , has anyone on here purchased the war of the worlds war machine,
by hollywood collectibles, i have and its the worse high end purchase i have seen in a long time,
the work on the model has to be seen to be beleaved just how poor the model replica is put together ,
its very disappointing as the pics before release looked so good, anyone have one what do you think???

i wish i had a few just to show how awful this thing is,
for the money $$ they have painted stripes on the top of the ship,
i dont remember seeing them in the movie version.
and this is a replica >:( no way.

i will try to show some pics soon, if you cant wait google the info,
you will find there are many who are disappointed with the lack of attention to detail,
with this model.

I just came across your post from many years back; I have one of these, and I don't know if you were posting back then just to get attention or what; people kept asking you for pics, but you would never post any; at that time there were no other, anywhere, what you call high end replicas, of the war machine, this was the only one; the one I have is flawless, all edges are seamless/smooth, no gaps: as for the streaks, yes in deed they were in the movie; where else could you have gotten a 20", working lights replica of the war machine
=^..^=

I had one.  I wasn't happy with the lighting.  The green glow isn't consistent.  It was dark in areas.  In order to get it to look like the movie models, the lighting would have to be very bright, like with neon tubing.  Also, the sculpt is too thick or "fat" heightwise.

I have the Pegasus pre-built copper/crome finish kit. Only 10", but really nice!  :)
