I'm a fan .. from way back ... as a very little girl, I used to think that they were saying the 'long' ranger.I'll write more later.

Me, too. ;)

Bogey,

That's funny, I love the Lone Ranger too, and I have exactly the same memory of watching episodes every morning at 6AM here in Louisville, KY. In fact, that was my incentive for getting up that early in the morning for school. I'd get up before 6AM and the local TV would be broadcasting "hog reports" and farm market information, and I'd eat my breakfast watching "The Lone Ranger" before I had to jump in the bath tub and get ready for school.

Ha!  I remembered it was followed up by Lassie....which I could take or leave.  I remember there was one episode that blew my mind because it was an "origin" type one.  I was hoping to finally see THE Ranger without his mask....never happened though.

Absolute coolness, Terry!

Well done Terry! Clayton Moore's autograph......nothing better! Clayton Moore IS the Lone Ranger for me. The more you read about him the more convinced you become that he lived his entire life to the high principals and ideals of the Lone Ranger. My misfortune never to have met him in person......Buddy

Here's acouple of my push-puppets.....in the center is a 30's Lone Ranger toothbrush holder. I've seen it described as all sorts of things on e-bay...usually without the wire that is meant to hold the toothbrush.
Yea, that is also a Superman push-puppet in the back......what can I say.......It's Saturday night, he was lonely, and hey, he's a push-puppet! Give him a break!   Love, Buddy
