Most fans of horror viewing may have a preference or two when it comes to beings of supernatural origins. In fact, an individual usually prefers one type of supernatural icon over others. Which is your favorite?
DARK SHADOWS:

David Collins: "Dead people dont just get up and walk around.."

Sarah Collins: "Sometimes they do."

that's a hard decision to make, I was going back and forth over three of them... Ghosts...Werewolves...and Zombies.
But, I had to choose only one, and that was Werewolves....

Are Mad Doctors or Frankenstein monsters supernatural?

Mad doctors? No. Frankenstein monsters could come under the walking dead..

I went with Ghosts, although there are only a handful of  really good ghost movies-The Haunting (original), The Innocents and to a lesser extent The Legend of hell House and Ghost Story. Interesting that my favorite supernatural being doesn't really appear on-screen that much.
Supernatural, perhaps; baloney, perhaps not.

The Changeling- George C Scott
The Uninvited (original) isnt bad either..

Vampires.

As for Ghost movies, "Let's Scare Jessica to Death" is a creepy 70's movie that still packs a punch.
"For one who has lived but a single lifetime, you are a wise man ...Van Helsing."
"I shall awaken memories of love and crime and death..."

Heck yeah!! Just watched that again a couple months ago!! To me, the 60s- 70s were the golden age of horror both on TV and the Big Screen. Shoot, the golden age of movies PERIOD.

I went with ghosts, i find those creepier than Vampires or Werewolf movies.

Another creepy ghost movie made for TV in the early 70's was 'Something Evil'.  But the original 'Don't be afraid of the Dark' with those little orange creatures, still gets me more than anything.

I chose Werewolf because...

Wolfman movies
Moon of the wolf
Werewolf tv show
The Howling
Silver Bullet
Dog Soldiers
Curse of the Werewolf
Bad Moon
etc...
