Cool "Monster High" pix, h1o1. Gotta admit, though, I'm more partial to Draculaura. Really curious to see how Universal handles the live-action film. Hope it doesn't get totally futzed, like the "Bratz" movie!

Mark, I love ALL the poster designs! Just to add that my room is just over 7ft from floor to ceiling.  So I'll either have to lose their heads (noooooo!!!) or remove the feet! (what a predicament!) Either that or buy a new house...erm....yeah!

Goss! Nice work on Myers! I agree what Illoman said about the highlights of the hair cutting into the background tones that happen to echo the colours on the mask! Great stuff!

LOL!  Yeah, I just made an attempt at hanging my poster paper for an 8' x 4' illustration and DANG, that thing is HUGE!  My ceilings are around 7' 6", and although I could still do them the bigger and wider size, I thing I'm gonna cut them down to between 7' and 7 and a half feet.  And, width-wise, probably 3', maybe 3' 6" or so.  Of course, I'll make 'em 10 feet tall if someone wants one that big!

LOL!  Yeah, I just made an attempt at hanging my poster paper for an 8' x 4' illustration and DANG, that thing is HUGE!  My ceilings are around 7' 6", and although I could still do them the bigger and wider size, I thing I'm gonna cut them down to between 7' and 7 and a half feet.  And, width-wise, probably 3', maybe 3' 6" or so.  Of course, I'll make 'em 10 feet tall if someone wants one that big!

If I didn't see the steps from step one, I'd swear that was a photo digitally enhanced to make it look like an illustration! Fantastic work, Mark!

"photo digitally enhanced" I'll take that as huge compliment in this day and age!  And there was me trying to keep things simplified for a change! LOL!

I must admit that I got quite excited once Hopkin's face started to really take shape by about the third visit to the drawing board and I spent another day fiddling to get it as good as I could. The biggest headache was getting that stenciled text on his chest about right.

I even used a Bob Ross technique!   Adding a mix of tones to the black background and then applying a thin wash of white acrylic in certain places. That revealed some of the tone as it dried. A nice touch....thanks Bob!
