Wow, I have been away from the board too long!! First, Dr Madd, I LOVE your Godzilla!!!Excellent and perfect take on the King of all Monsters! I like green for Godzilla, but in every movie except Godzilla 2000 and Godzilla vs Megaguirus, Godzilla is actually dark grey, but I have found that that makes fairly drab paint schemes. I have alot of Godzilla kits and some are authentic grey, but I have also done green and brown Godzilla's as well. Monsterfink-Holy crap, your art is fangtastic-I LOVE it!!!!!!!!!!!!! Monsters are Good-that Valentine's Drac is so cool-what a great ideas-nicely done! Gillfan, love the new Bob Burns Mani-Yacks-great stuff!!

I love the vibrant colors. I'll be painting the Fly up tonight. I'm planning on a wash of matte black under a thin drybrush of grey and metallic green eyes.

I'd probably have to change his Gargoyle side to a Vampire and add some Mummy bandages, but it could work. I'll see what I can work up.

Love your portrait pieces.. They look like monster magazine article blurbs, and that's really cool. What do you use to  draw them?

I draw all these the same way: technical pens and Sharpies . . . then I add the screen, scan and colorize.
