I LOVE Motorhead!!!

I was just listening to some old Hawkwind with Lemmy playing bass and doing some vocals. You can hear his bass driving the songs similar to what he would later do in Motorhead.

Well I am SO glad to see some Motorhead fans. Btw, great choices on the songs.
Motorhead will always be the band that noone can define. Metalheads claim 'em, as
well as the punks. They are the perfect band.

Motorhead is totally a brilliant band and Lemmy is just the absolute coolest.  I'm not as familiar with all their stuff as I should be, but I have loads of respect for them.  One of the coolest things I can think of involving Motorhead was their 1984 appearance on The Young Ones (I really dig The Young Ones, so having Motorhead on that show was fantastic!):

As a huge Ramones fan, Motorhead's tribute to them in the song R.A.M.O.N.E.S. was very cool to me as well:

My final cool Motorhead moment: After my friend's band did a full tour opening for them, Lemmy contributed a vocal part on one of the songs for their next album.  Lemmy didn't sing the whole song, just part of the chorus, but his voice is unmistakable.  The song and video aren't all that great, but can you imagine having Lemmy come in and record with your band!?!?!?!:

I own every album, including the lives ones (Yikes!); although I will be honest and I don't listen to "Another Perfect Day" as much as I should....I think they're GREAT! Orgasmatron is probably my favorite album & song; but there are sooo many others as well, I dig "Going to Brazil,""Metropolis,""We are the Road Crew,""Stay Out of Jail," in related news just got the remaster of Hawkwind's "Hall of the Mountain Grill" today! Score.
