I had this Frankenstein's monster toy when I was 5 or 6 that was 1975/6 man I haven't seen him for 30 odd years. I absolutely love him, could anyone help me to get one. I be very, very grateful indeed.

Thank you Mcdee, that's cool but I'm really looking for the 70's ventriloquist dummy I had when I was a kid :-)

Unbelievable a recent search of my mum's attic unearthed what's left  of my 1975 Frankenstein's Monster. Any idea's on a rebuild anyone?

Oh that's fantastic, so pleased you came across this, at least you have the main and important part of him. Maybe you'll come across the other parts too. Hope you manage to get him restored.

Thanks Monsterscud i appreciate that  ;)  I mentioned this site to my mum as she is a massive horror fan. As we was talking I told her i was trying to track down my old Frankenstein Monster Christmas gift. Unbelievably she told me she had the Monster's head in the greenhouse. It had been found in an attic clear out a day before, I'm really happy. I haven't seen him in nearly 40 years.
I want to see him rebuilt, i'm hoping someone on the forum might be able to offer some help and advice in this direction.

What a great reunion! Wish I knew how to make that work but it's great to have your own.

I'm wondering if the jaw and parts from another dummy could be used to make this one operational.  Does anyone know if they make a Justin Beiber ventriloquist dummy in this size?  You could honestly feel like Samson from the bible if you used the jaw of an ass.
What ever happened to my Transylvania Twist?

Hello Guys and thanks for the support  :D
Just thought i'd update you on the rebuild.I know its not great work but its the best i can do with my limited skill set. I've replaced The monster's missing eyes with a taxidermy quality set of wolf eyes and rebuilt a jaw from air dried clay. I'll be ready for paint in a few days. I'll update as i rebuild him.

You have done a fantastic job with the eyes and jaw, looks really great. I'll certainly send you the measurements, but you may have to remind me again if I haven't done it by Tuesday.

Monsterscud

Hi Frankenstein's Monster

I have the measurements here for you, these are only approx. measurements because of parts of the arms and legs have become brittle especially near the joins.

Arms to tip of fingers - 11.5 inches, just the hand and wrist measures about 6 and a quarter inches
Legs - 9 inches
Chest - 15 inches circumference, chest length would be about 5 to 6 inches, difficult to measure because it shapes out at the bottom of the chest where the legs attach to it.

Hope these are of some use to you.

All the best

Thanks Monsterscud I really appreciate that  :)
