Welcome to my pal Tony Pitocco!

Tony is a wonderful wonderful Sculptor and great friend who I just talked into joining our ranks.

Please share your favorite Pitoccos here.
My favorite Pitoccos are THE PITOCOS, themselves. I love his wonderful masks, but he is one of the greatest fans out there!

These pics are from our trip tp Niagra Falls 3 years ago. BTW, the second pic also features Dr.. Shocker's Dad!

I have to chime in on my appreciation of Tony's work.  From sculpting to painting and finish-work, he's certainly one of the best mask-making artists around.  SALUTE!

And a special salute to our Officer of the Month Dan Roebuck for his recruiting efforts! Thanks Dan!

Dear Brothers, DAN & TONY,
... Wilkommen, meinen Herren, und, OOTMAH!
... Always a pleasure, to have new blood, in olde men, with talented corpuscles, adding to our UMA MONSTER MADNESS!
... I, too, am an Actor, and, Make-up Artist/Sculptor, {as well as OOTMAH-PAST} working out of the Mid-West.
... My claim to 'Fame' is that, I started the HAUNTED HOUSE 'Industry', for the profit of various Charities, back in AD 1970, in Cinci, Oh.
... Howe'er, I was creating Haunted Rooms {of the Maze variety} starting in AD 1960, up through AD 1963, at Grade School Carnivals, and, roaming through them, performing as the Classic Monsters: Dracula, Frankenstein, and, The Wolfman... I've, also, been a TV Horror Host, since AD 1978... so, your Exquisite Efforts, are right up my alley!
EXANIMO EVERNOW,

It was great fun to introduce Tony to a lifesize version of one of his monster heads a couple of months ago:

Heck, I even let Gracebuster get in on the action too:

ProfGriffin

Thats a great 'life size' Frankenstein Monster.

Just curious, how TALL did you make that?  Not talking about actual height in the movies...but in my mind, the Monster was HUGE.
Seeing the Monster realized at that height, I am simply stunned.
He's a GIANT!

As Peter Frankenstein described him...

Size DOES matter.

I usually make lifesize figures around 7' tall. The reason? If we're all "monster kids", then the real monsters still need to be a lot bigger than we are. ;D

In the case of Tony's Glenn Strange, I built a special mannequin which is 8' tall. For one thing, the sculpt itself is significantly oversized and demanded this scale. For another, it's my favorite display-head and deserved special treatment.

I wish we could see more of the cool ROHENINIA (I gave up on speling it right years ago) collection!

Dan, it's entirely thanks to your instructions that I finally figured out how to post pix here... so I'm happy to add a few more monsters for ya. Since this is Tony's thread, however, I'll restrict myself to his wonderful creations:
