I think they were intended to be used with bubble solution.  But Terry and I prefer to use them to smoke hardcore drugs.

I'd like to dispel the myth that these are wax. They are polyethylene. Soft especially when warm and fragile to be sure, but not wax.
There is a mold for a Frankenstein bust and a full figure.

You're right!  I just bit the head off my Frankenstein and tried to eat it.  Definitely not wax!

Thanks for the clarification. I had several of these as a kid and some of the machines even had a warning about hot wax. Now that I think about it they didn't feel like wax.

My last blow mold pic of the season.  I just got this, so pardon the not-so-glam photography.

After seeing those awesome old Halloween blow mold light up guys I vivdly remember having several of them in our house as a kid. So I was at my parents over the Halloween wekend and asked my Mom if she still had them and lo and behold there was one left-the scarecrow pumpkin head. He long ago lost his lightbulb and cord, but I don't mind. He now resides on my shelves next to a smaller blowmold ghost I bought this year , the Sideshow Lugosi Dracula and Wolfman and the similar sized Vincent Price from the Raven figures.

I wish my adult children would take interest in the cool treasures that I might possbly have in a closet!  That's pretty cool, that your Mom would have that awesome scarecrow. It's not easy being the keeper of the loot, but I keep waiting for the day when I can impress one of my offspring    :)

I was surprised my parents still had any of these guys as I remember them from when I was very very little which goes back to about 1975 because it was before I started kindergarten which was 76, and we used them until I was probably 13 or 14, which was the mid 80s! These guys were a huge part of my childhood Halloween memories and the last survivor has an honored place in my year round collection now. Maybe someday your adult children will get nostalgic about their childhoods and want some of those treasures you have Charp. I hadn't thought about these Halloween guys in decades, so you never know.

That's SO cool!! I'd love to have ANYTHING from my youth. What I did have.........a ceramic owl candleholder which sat in my grandmother's kitchen for YEARS........was smashed to bits during the move.  :'(

Damn.sorry to hear that. It's those little things that can mean a lot just because of memory/history.
Years ago when I was 5 I won a Tinykins Gheppto at a carnival. It meant a LOT to me since the memory of me and mom at the carnival was crystal clear. It disappeared about 10 years ago into the void. :o

I bought the Vincent Price Raven figure on ebay back in the early 2000s. Don't remember how much I paid for him  though.
