Hog heaven here!  The wonderful Martita Hunt.  You're amazing.  When I met Yvonne Monlaur last Bash, I talked with her about Martita--she said very funny and friendly, unlike her gruff and forbidding roles!  "And," I said, "le nez formidable!"  That made Monlaur laugh.  Gloria Holden is amazing...and the rarer ones, so hard to find.  You are a veritable Sherlock Holmes, searching them out.

Clive is a prize, and the Bela gypsy, a treasure beyond price (well, come to think of it, I imagine QUITE a price!).  I liked Zita--wrote to her and Foch both and got autographs years ago.  It was always a lot of fun to go get the mail in the 1970s decade when I was writing to so many old stars--and find one or two of my SASE's waiting for me at the P.O.

I know what you mean,I would race home and see how many of those SASE were back from their destinations. Sadly so many have passed away. Best. Mario

Mario, Did you have that same black and silver address book I had...Christensen's, was it?  I wish I had written to twice as many as I did, using that.  I was after silent stars back in those days particularly, and I left some of the lesser '40s-50s stars go by the wayside.  I'll name a couple more--do you have Josephine Hutchinson?  Frances Drake?  Bramwell Fletcher?  You have the rare ones--these are more commonplace, I think!  I collect Cushing heavily--any interesting Peter Cushing signed pieces?    Roaming your collection is like exploring a museum--a VERY GOOD museum!

You know , I didn't have that address book, I had one it was a list of horror /scifi people . Weavers' or websters something like that. I did write to Josephine Hutchinson, also Frances Drake. I'll post those soon, on Cushing he was  already using that all-inclusive signature type thing he did. I don't have anything like a long inscription, but I'd be interested if you had a spare, I have a few doubles of some folks, that maybe we could trade. Pm at my email if you have one you'd be willing to live without. Mario
