Searching for the Creature is the set pictured above with the 3 researchers/archeologists, table and the fossilized claw in the rock!

Never seen those before! Not a lot of Creature to it. Would love to have all the figures, but not crazy about the rest. Rita isn't bad, but why are there trees growing out of it?

Yep, the Monster Matinee would have been an awesome piece . .

I wanted that Creature piece, but luckily Diamond is coming out (fingers crossed) with a similar piece.

With the exception of the standing Creature, all the figures are from the two stand alone sets. I love that the Rita set has the hand reaching out of the water in what I take to be a tribute to the Dell comics cover (though it's a human hand on the comic). I've never seen it in person, but I think the trees are on the river's bank, and the whole ship is made to look as if it's abandoned and dilapidated. I've wanted it since it came out and went ahead and ordered it today as well, since it's the only Rita object ever produced (tmk) and they let me buy it outright - yet not without an attempt to upsell to the whole line. Totally forgot about the tent, but at $60 I just don't find that one quite cool enough. Yet.

Are you discussing the big vinyl bank or is there another piece on the DST slate? If I remeber correctly, the bank has been solicited and though it was a prototype that was on display at Comic Con, Chuck from Diamond said it and Frankenstein are on the way (and that he thought the water was going to stay blue, damn it). SRP on those big banks is 19.99, but we all should definitely preorder from our local comic shop or online retailers. The DST monster releases are mostly seasonal.

The trees are part of the landscape behind the Rita!

Here's the Lagoon piece, you can fill it with water and it has a mister in it to cover the water's surface in "fog"~

Apparently I never took close ups of the front/back of the tent but if anyone is interested I can probably take some shots tomorrow!

Yeh, the bank. Good News! Nice to see a Creature that isn't a bobble head.  ;D

Oh! I like it a whole lot better, now.

Here's the Lagoon piece . . .

The ratio between the tiny Creature and that big lump of . . whatever that is, is too much for me!

I'm interested. Also, is the Creature figure from the smoking Lagoon set the same as the one included with the train car? And none of these have illustrated boxes, do they?

I'm with you there. I want the figure, but not the Lagoon base.

Yep, the figures that came with the trains were all the same as the first Monster Village offerings and there were no illustrated boxes for any of this stuff, just white styrofoam!

Well, I'd rather have the train car than the smoke Lagoon. Perhaps it too is still in stock. Thanks again for the titles and item codes, I don't believe they would have found them without. I had to spell Rita three times for the operator before it came up (I think she had it right p, but that their database isn't great).

I'm thinking of starting the subscription in a month or two.  Do you have to specially order some of the bonus figures or do they come automatically?

The way it worked before was once you are signed up for the Village they would then send you out a letter detailing the accessory sets that you sign up for separate and from there it works just like the rest of the collections where you receive the newest figures every few months.

Thanks, I really wanted to do the Munsters Village as well but that just wasn't happening....even when the economy was better!  They also had the modern Horror Village which I would have loved to have had, I just find it really kitsch to have Freddy, Leatherface, Jason, Michael Meyers, Dawn of the Dead and Chucky figures from somewhere like Bradford Exchange.
