My "movie room" is too small to view movies in--this is the house I grew up in, and (as has often been said by many before me) I was surprised at how small the house had become when I moved back here.  The Movie Room is just part of the display area--I have another small room that is all Vincent Price, and then the basement Dungeon, which is about 3 times the size of each of the small upstairs rooms.  All in all, still not a huge space.

Hoops & Yoyo are big movie fans, too, ya know!  I just got from Cuz Sara (vpdogjoe) a talking Hoops & Yoyo on a sofa, and they give out with various wise remarks about pirate movies and popcorn.  They crack me up.

All these collections definitely have an Ackermansion flavor to them, I have to say.  I am more of a builder than a collector, myself, although I do have the odd thing...
Beautiful moving, shifting colors!

You're very lucky Robert, to be living in the house you grew up in. This must make your connection to your monster kid past all the stronger being that you are in the same environment where you spent your formative years developing the passion you continue to nurture to this day.  I live about 60 miles from where i grew up and occasionally take a drive in to haunt my old neighborhood. Nobody i know still lives there today and my old house has undergone so many extensions and changes [as have all the houses around it] that i wouldn't even want to go in... I started  the Christmas '62 thread a while back on this site and every time i see that pic of a perfect Christmas morning i wish i could go back to that moment in time,  if only long enough to feel the sun streaming in the big picture window on my face.
Wonderful collection you have there! Keep enjoying every minute of your monster past, present and future in the family homestead,

Great stuff!!! Thanks, But is too much expensive?

Drew Bludd

Wow.

I WAS going to post a picture of my room but it pales in comparison.

I think all I really have is a BRIDE OF FRANKENSTEIN poster and a ZACHERLEY FOR PRESIDENT bumper sticker.
