Island Of The Lost Souls on DVD

My friend told me today that he read sometime in October Island Of The Lost Souls with Bela Lugosi will be released on DVD and BLU Ray. Universal is not releasing this. It is an independent company. It was originally a Paramount Picture anyway but Universal had it in their classic VHS collection. He said the BLU Ray will go for $28.00 and the DVD for $19.95. We can only hope he is right. I burned a copy on DVD from the Universal VHS so I could perserve the film in case the VHS tape got damaged. Let's keep our fingers crossed. My friend is pretty accurate about DVD releases.
