"The Couple" starring Martin Landau, set in WWII, about a Jewish Husband and Wife fleeing for Switzerland, after Nazis invade their home.
A real good movie

- Inglourious Basterds

Highly recommended for Tarantino fans. Brad Pitt was the man in this movie.
"For one who has lived but a single lifetime, you are a wise man ...Van Helsing."
"I shall awaken memories of love and crime and death..."

The last ones I watched were...
Athens Ga Inside/Out  - 1980 Georgia music, hipster scene, especially noted for appearances by R.E.M. and the great folk artist Howard Finster.

Casablanca - My wife LOVEsssss Claude Rains,  :-*, which is pretty cool as far as I'm concerned. It's hard to get tired of this one.

Bedknobs and Broomsticks - fantasy w/a smidgen of spooky effects. I got to thinkin' how this might have been influential on the Harry Potter series.

Michael

My music is for Phoenix. Only she can sing it. Anyone else who tries, dies.

"They might be Giants", Comedy-Drama, starring George C. Scott as a Mental Patient, who believes he is Sherlock Holmes.
I liked the movie, until the ending, it could have ended better, but I still recommend this movie to anyone who hasnt seen it.
I give it 3 outta 5 stars ;D

Monster Kid

The History Channel's documentary, "Hollywood's Greatest Villains" a friend gave me because she knew I liked Lugosi and the DVD had Lugosi on the cover, devoted maybe 10 seconds of screen time to him.  The rest was about movie villains based on real baddies (horse thieves, serial killers, nasty ladies, the mob, sci fi villains, etc.)  They did interview John Carpenter extensively. But it is kind of neat to realize that Bela was used as a draw to boost sales, even if he was not an important subject in the doc.  I did feel cheated.
