Roger Corman's the Undead. This movie is so overlooked, ok MST3K ripped the movie a new one. But, Undead is dark, creepy, atmospheric, cool plot. Allison Hayes from Attack of the 50ft Woman, as Livia the witch. Diana Love as lady of the evening who is put into a trance by a psychic named Quintis, begins to recollect a previous life as a Witch of the Middle Ages named Helena. This movie is very sad, one can feel  the character Diana/ Helana which makes it good, not your typical horror movie. The Satan character, and some of the props well, a little cheesy. But, the movie holds up.

This is one of those movies I've always wanted to see. Someday soon, I hope.

Famous Monsters had a cool 8mm Captain Company add for it.

It sure had one of the coolest posters of the era- the 'death' skeleton with the outreaching arms. I think it had a gal in peril in a coffin-shaped area on his chest...didn't it? Been awhile since I've seen it.  :-\

great flick, very atmospheric. you could see how it influenced guys like Coffin joe.

I've wanted to see this film for awhile, primarily because of that cool poster.  I collect posters, and that one pops up two or three times a year.  It makes the film seem very intriguing.  After all these decades, that poster is still doing its job – selling the movie!

Totally watch this movie, Ray. I recommend it, that doesn't exclude anyone else. The Undead still holds up. Some people I've talked to, don't love the film. But, they like it. Many of my Horror-geek friends as myself Love the flick, it's just so different. It's not cookie-cutter cheese, just a down and dirty plot.

One of my favorites!  The film really has a "dark ages" feel to it, IMO.  Billy Barty is AWESOME in it, and I even like the devil!  Is it on dvd?

Great Al Kallis poster! (Though I'm not sure the woman was done by Kallis? Maybe Brown?)

One of Roger Corman's best early efforts..I love Allison Hayes so watching this is always quite a pleasure for me. In an decade where sci-fi monsters reigned supreme, this must have stood out like a breath of fresh air as something different.

I like this one a lot.  It's very strange with an interesting premise and is quite atmospheric.  Fun movie AND Billy Barty's in it as an imp.  What more could one ask for really?
