This one hit me hard this morning and I almost started tearing up here at work when I saw it on Google news a little while ago.  I knew it was coming but still...  She was my first big crush.

Yeah, that poster of her in the red bathing suit hung above my bed for years...she was a beautiful woman up to the end.

I was so sad to hear this.  After seeing my dad 's long battle with leukemia, I knew she would have a battle, too.  It's a slow painful death and it takes all of your dignity away.  She was tough and a fighter, but she just couldn't beat the menace.  I wish her a safe and pain free journey up to heaven.

Farrah was awesome, all the way to the end. One of my cousins worked as a bodyguard and got to meet Farrah & Ryan O'Neal. Farrah came over & introduced herself, "Hi, I'm Farrah." My cousin said he got a bit flustered & stammered, "I know!".
