This is bizarre and kind of repugnant.  If it were documentary nature footage, I'd find it fascinating.  But staging these fights for online amusement is not cool.  I'm giving it a thumbs down.

It's very popular in the Asian world, I've seen it in Martial Arts movies, alot of betting takes place.
It's not any different than watching UFC or Boxing.

I completely missed the UFC and boxing matches that were fought to the death, much less by unwitting participants. Got a link?

Of course, I'm being snide, but doing so in hopes of proving a point. While they are insects, which most people place lower on the right to life chain than, say, dogs, they are still being placed in situation where they are killed for amusement. Really not something deserving of support.

I'm not saying support it, I'm saying it's crazy.  That is part of the point of this thread.  There is a lot of crazy stuff on the internet.  They have a few ads on that page, but I believe none of them pay the website unless you click them.  Perhaps this is the wrong crowd for crazy/cool links.
