Speaking of long pre-orders, I'd had the Monster High Xenomorph on preorder since last October. It showed up over the past weekend.





What sold me were the face hugger shoes. I also thought it would be cool to have this alongside a traditional alien and make a Frankenstein with the Bride sort of set up.

                                                    FRANKENSTEIN - Medallion - Resin - 2 11/16 in. - Copper Toned

I thought this might look good decorating a cabinet, on the front of an album, on a wooden box - or some such thing.  Looks just like the auction photo in person.  The actual size is almost 2.75 in. at 2 11/16 in.  I got one finished and one unfinished.  I figured it would look good the color of a circulated nickel.  The painted Medallion is just slightly lighter and has great detail.

Picked up a few Matchbox monster/ horror related things this week. I've been eyeballing the glow in the dark box set of Monster in my Pocket creatures for awhile and finally found one in decent condition.

Just grabbed these at Walmart heavily discounted from their original prices. Alien Big Chap was 17 originally 30, Godzilla was 11 originally 30. It's a good time to check the monster toys in the electronics section at Walmart.

I picked up one of those bootleg Mezco Franks from Mexico.    The electrodes light up and he says a few phrases in spanish.     I like it much , much more than the official version.    Nice soft vinyl and smells fantastic.   

Just got one of these.  It looks much more colorful than the American version.  The paint job was very well done for a knockoff.  And you're right, he smells very nice!

Its softer vinyl and feels more like a toy than the Mezco version too.

The hard part is deciding who to play first.  The blob?  The zombie cowboy that turned victims into his undead posse?  The killer car?  The Mummygator?  Or maybe just a clown so creepy he even scares the other monsters.

Got a stack of colorful plastic skulls to fill up one of the slots in my Monstor vending machine. Half the fun of having this thing is finding weird things to fill it with.

I picked up two golden age Black Magic comics from a store in Florence, Kentucky and found several assorted golden and silver age books I needed at various Cincinnati comic shops. I'm in this area for my daughter's graduation ( she's valedictorian 🥹). Now that she's graduating I probably won't be in this area of the country again anytime soon and will miss visiting the local shops. They've all been great to me over the last few years!
