I can recommend Sisu (2022)

https://tubitv.com/movies/100048358/sisu

Its genre listed as War, Action, Thriller but the gore probably edges it into Horror. It's really good.

Most of the new stuff on Tubi is mediocre and worse. It's a pleasant surprise when you find a gem on there.

Went to a Halloween and Halloween 2 double feature at the Tampa Theater on Halloween Night.  The screen is small, but it's a gorgeous theater.  Shame parking was nearly as expensive as two tickets for two movies.  I don't get to go there often as a result.

I couldn't resist the opportunity to see Halloween for the first time in a theater on Halloween.

Today's movie was The Walking Dead (1936), which I greatly enjoyed.

Unless it was a midnight show, I could never do that.  On Halloween, the young me would have been trick-or-treating and the old me would feel obligated to stay home and hand out treats.

I watched it on streaming, so if those are extras on discs I didn't have access.  I do think I will buy the blu at some point.  I had a good time with that one.

Lazarus

House of Wax today, with Vincent Price.  Another one I'd never seen.  That burn makeup was really good for a movie that old.

I need to get a good copy of that. It's one of those classic '70s horror movies, like "Black Christmas" and "Children Shouldn't Play with Dead Things" that should be in every fan's collection!

There's some decent copies on Ebay for around $8.00 to $20.00 bucks despite some of the overpriced ones..
