Quote from: Mike Scott on October 31, 2025, 03:38:36 PMWhat was the word? Probably just spellcheck run amuck. That's why I proofread my posts.
It did it again. I left the post above as what was left of the word. Add the five problematic letters to the beginning of "eted" and you get what I actually typed. It's pretty bad when a series of letters is censored that is a totally different word from what is attempted to be censored.

I proofread posts too, as is common.

I don't know what the 5 letters are! Advereted? Type the word but leave a space between each letter.

Instead of the 5 prohibited letters, try typing The Orange Turd.

Quote from: Mike Scott on October 31, 2025, 04:54:12 PMIt worked for you.

I tried typing a certain word beginning with F in a much earlier post and had it automatically changed by the UMA.  (Oddly enough it concerned the same steaming pile.)

Yes, there are banned words, here. I mean, when would that word be needed in a conversation at the UMA?

"Advertised" is the replacement word I used because my original word was nonsensical after the censoring. No big deal, I guess. I'll just have to remember not to use those five prohibited letters in sequence even if they're part of a larger word.

Oh yea, I think that is one of the censored words, for obvious reasons.  ;D
