Have not posted in a loooong time, but wanted to pass on this news. ;D

CultTVman recently revealed that Atlantis will be re-releasing the Aurora 1/13 scale Monster Scene kits. The first 4 will be "Frankenstein", "Dr. Deadly", "The Pain Parlor", & "Gruesome Goodies"

Scheduled for early 2026.

Great kits!

I had the Frankenstein and Pain Parlor from when Aurora put them out in the early '70s as a kid. Still have pieces from those kits. I loved that they snapped together, and you could actually play with them.

I bought the reissues by Moebius when they came out in 2008-2010. It was great to see the ones Aurora never made. I snapped some of those together to display but kept most of them sealed in the boxes.

I also bought the book that came out in 2014.

These kits were a real high point for Monster Kids in the '70s. It's good they're being reissued again so fans who don't have them can enjoy them without paying aftermarket prices.

Denncomm put out more Monster Scenes kits in the mid 2010s: Animal Pit, Dungeon, Feral Cat, Sabre Tooth Rabbit, and Skeleton. I have those except for the Skeleton which I didn't find when they came out.

I noticed the book posted above seems to be selling for $200-$300 now. It's a great book and I'm glad I bought a copy when it first came out.

Here's a fun video featuring many of these kits connected in a big diorama.

 8) Thank you all for the feedback. Watching the you tube links now. I did not realize how extensive this line was. Great diorama options !

Loved these as a kid.  Got the Moebius Models reissues since the originals got trashed YEARS ago.  Missed the Animal Pit and The Dungeon.  Sure hope those will be re-released in the near future so I can get them.

I really love these kits and how they fit into a single diorama. I completed a few of the kits that came out several years ago and had a blast painting and gluing all the parts while sipping on a beer and watching an old monster movie. These are especially relaxing to me after a long night of work.
