AHI Wolfman-HARD HEAD SCULPT-HAIRY VERSION

Was the hard head sculpt/hairy version the first version of the Wolfman? Is it rarer than the other wolfman versions? Just curious because there is one on eBay now, and I figured someone here would know more about these AHI figures. Thanks.

Well, I am pretty sure the hard heads were early, if not "first". Yet I have always heard they were indeed "first". The smooshy heads are definitely the later ones, because I got them for Christmas as a boy in the 70's. They are the ones one the colored bodies.
