Shock Waves is a fave! I saw it at the drive-in when it came out. Cushing is great in it. I read he did the film for $5K and helped the young director quite a bit during the shoot. Good old Peter Cushing!

I have a general fondness for the Nazi Zombie subgenre anyway, unless they get too silly like Dead Snow. If they're just fun, cheezie, and bad like Zombie Lake or Oasis of the Zombies I really enjoy them, but not if they get too cute with the slapstick.

I really enjoyed it and it's one I'd not seen yet. Always great seeing Cushing and Carradine too.

Bunch of favorites there! Never saw any of the "Howling" sequels and "Road Games" sounds like a "Mad Max" wantstabe.

Yeah, those are not held in high regard by a lot of Hammer fans. The '70s are a sweet spot for me so I enjoy them as the Exploitation end of Hammer. Not as high quality as most earlier Hammer efforts but they have a gritty drive-in charm that I appreciate.  ;)

There are some good movies in the '70s. For blood sucking I prefer the Karnstein's and "Vampire Circus" over the Dracs.
