I just watched I Am Legend (2007) with the alternative ending which I liked better. The only problem in this decent film is the CGI, which now looks even more dated and takes you out of your suspension of disbelief. It really ruins what could have been a great film. Instead of using real people as the infected with good makeup (and maybe a little CG to enhance), we've got cartoon characters who are super strong, insanely agile and move at the speed of lightening. I'm glad I rewatched it though and the alternate ending was a nice change. Will Smith and his dog are the best parts for me.

I recently bought a Blu-Ray double feature of The Omega Man and I Am Legend. I'd heard about this alternate ending, which I believe was the original one intended. For some reason, they decided to change it before the theatrical version was released.
