My nephew is autistic so we can't really show him the stuff I was watching at his age (which was....  Everything).  I thought Monster Squad would be a safe bet and boy did he not like the werewolf getting blown up.  He was also very sad about Frankenstein's Monster, but hey, we all were.

The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: Part 2

This movie really doesn't get the respect it deserves.  It's got a lot of black comedy in it, but the scene where Stretch's hiding in the abbatoir and trying to talk down Bubba, and then L.G. wakes up is one of the most horrific things I've ever seen in a movie.  And her fight with Chop Top where he's just slicing the crap out of her with the razor, and the hammer hits.  Stretch goes through it, man.  Stretch is an all timer final girl.

The Sawyers are holed up in an abandoned western theme park and the Hitchhiker from the original is carried around by Chop-Top as a stitched together corpse, Nubbins Sawyer. Dennis Hopper plays a Texas Ranger who is as crazy as the Sawyers and is out for revenge for Sally and Franklin. The Camp and Black Comedy are laid on thick, but I think it's really good. I saw it at the theater when I was in the Army.

Finished out the franchise.  I'd only seen up to 3 before so I was overdue catching up.  Gonna catch up on some Marvel before we commit to the next thing.  It's my pick this time and I'm not sure what to choose.
