There's a ton at my local FYE (which is an overpriced store all around). But either way, that's where I got my Phantom.

I'm so relieved I don't collect these, lol. it's like TMNT or MOTU. Too many to keep up with too quickly, lol.

They do it on purpose.  Adding  to the fact they are inaccurate made them an easy pass for me from the start.

Same here. Aside from the silly aftermarket prices just the MSRP seems a bit steep- $20 for figures of this size seems a little excessive even with runaway prices on everything due to the ridiculous level of inflation everyone has had to endure. NECA is making a killing on these things, and flippers are making even more, just not at my expense.
ALWAYS MONSTERING...

NECA is running a bit of a "contest", asking us to vote for the next Ben Cooper Kid over the next nine days!

Choose from the Wolf Man, the Metaluna Mutant, Clown, Pirate, Ghost, or write in your choice!

Didn't they already do a WM and a MM?

Technically, Ben Cooper didn't even do a Mutant costume, back in the day. That was when Collegeville had the license that they did him.
So, I imagine, if they did do a Metaluna Mutant trick or treater figure, it would not look like the Collegeville costume. (But who knows?)

I think it will look like the Collegeville costume, since they have the rights to Collegeville as well as Ben Cooper, and they've already released some Collegeville costumes as Ben Cooper in this line. Hopefully we shall see.

That said, I would love it if NECA could release all six costumes from the early 80's Collegeville Universal Monsters line or, if the rights prevent it, make a fantasy Collegeville Mummy costume to replace the Mutant in such a wave.

I didn't realize that. Which have been Collegeville?

Off the top of my head, I know NECA used the Collegeville Monster Squad TV show Dracula mask with the Ben Cooper Dracula jumpsuit in series 2. I think the Witch may be a Collegeville release as well, but I'm getting that from what someone else said. I personally don't recognize that one, as it's outside my wheelhouse. But the Dracula mask is 100% the Collegeville Monster Squad TV show Henry Polic II as Dracula mask.

Here's a pretty good overview of the merch released around Monster Squad, thanks to Plaid Stallions, and it shows off the costumes and masks from Collegeville very well.

I actually thought that Dracula looked familiar, like the Monster Squad Dracula. In fairness, the mask looks better than the actual Dracula mask Ben Cooper released back in the day.

I also realized the Vampire Girl was also a Collegeville mask, and YES the witch too.

Or NECA could have done better research and given us something truly obscure and amazing:

Duh on my part! The Vampire Girl is the one figure I'm still looking for and I know it's a Collegeville costume! I just forgot at test time.

But, yeah, NECA is doing some mixing and matching, which I'm completely against, but I've also occasionally been accused of being no fun so... so it goes. But wouldn't the above Dracula costume have been incredible as an action figure, and way more in line with the others?

Wow, I had no idea any of these were Collegeville and that Neca had the license too. That means JAWS and hopefully JAWS 2 (same mask as JAWS) will be happening down the line. It does suck that they are mixing and matching, or unmatching in this case. Also sucks I missed out on Frankenstein. I wore that one and Hot Wheels as a kid.
