Sarah Collins: "Sometimes they do."

Arrived yesterday. Been meaning to get The Omega Man for the longest time. Also, seeing the alternative ending to I am Legend will be interesting.

I still need to see Omega Man.  Might rectify that soon.  Gonna be hard to beat Last Man on Earth though.  Love that one.

Caved and ordered the Criterion I Walked with a Zombie/ 7th Victim two pack.  Finishes my Val Lewton collection!

Lunkenstein

The Last Man on Earth is still my favorite version. I have the Midnight Movies version which is nice and widescreen. It's also a double feature with Panic in the Year Zero.

Gotta say, the original novel by Richard Matheson is a fantastic read. It's hard to put down once you start.

The Omega Man is very '70s, but I love it too for a different take.

Fully agree on all points. I have the Midnight Movies double feature as well. It's a great presentation.

For sure! I'm glad these arrived undamaged. Severin is top-notch with customer service. I had 4 of the 5 individual titles already on average quality DVDs with little to no special features, but when I had the chance to get them at 75% off on high quality BDs rich in special features, I jumped on them. I would have bought more if I had more expendable cash at the time. The box sets were 50% off, which is still a great deal but ate up some serious money. Next big Severin sale is probably Black Friday when I plan to buy the Peter Cushing box set and anything else I can afford. I just hope Severin continues their Danza Macabra series with another Spanish Horror box set!

I have the CASTLE OF THE CREEPING FLESH and BLOODY PIT OF HORROR ones from Severin, you are in for a treat there, especially with BLOODY PIT as it really looks great uncut and remastered.

Yes! Bloody Pit looks great. Hargitay was really over the top in that one.

All of Severin's product is top-notch. Their remastering and choices regarding what's included on their releases is excellent. Those box sets are beautiful. I'm not interested in some of their releases, but the ones that I am are very well done.

I bought both Gamera sets for my brother a while back.  Got them squirreled away for Christmas.  He never could find a copy of Gamera the Brace for a reasonable price.

I've gotta get those Naschy sets at some point.

Shout Factory has a going out of print sale going on, so I got The Omen Collection and Motel Hell (Steelbook) for half off.  Also grabbed Ravenous while I was on there because I've been meaning to get it.
