Oh man, those are fantastic. I have no budget for them, but I'd love to own them for sure. The final word on figures of the two, it would seem.

Anton Phibes

They aren't within my budgetary constraints either. I'm getting them though. Time to work a little extra.

So how soon can we expect to see these action figures in the toy aisle at our local Walmart?

Well so much for being anything more than a niche product for aging Hammer Horror enthusiasts.

FULL REVEAL AND PRE ORDERS WENT UP TODAY. I AM ALL OVER THEM. I HOPE THEY DO VINCENT PRICE AND PSYCHO!!!

So how would these Kaustic Plastic figures compare to those very recently issued by Sideshow Collectibles?

The Sideshow releases are 1/4 scale, and have no movement and only one headsculpt. More like statues. The KP are 1/6 with three head sculpts each if you buy the exclusives.

If there are no joints, how do they dress them?

I don't work for Sideshow or Kaustic.  I have come to the UMA for years to share every tidbit of information I get about new monster products.

If you want answers about the production process, wholesalers or marketing, you'll need to ask their customer service reps.

I'm all about vintage pre-1970 items. Moreover I've never been a fan of figures/dolls, even vintage ones such as G.I. Joe, Captain Action, the AHI monsters or the Megos. ( I could however be tempted by the Ideal Super Queens. ;))

That being said, I'm a huge fan of Hammer Horror and the roles both Christopher Lee and Peter Cushing played in the Hammer flicks. And these Kaustic Plastic and the Sideshow figures of Dracula and Van Helsing look so well done that they tempt even me!

Mike...In 3-D!

These are great, but I can't justify these after the Sideshow statues. I'm more or less over sixth scale figures anyway. I have the silver screen Sideshow set and a few others, but that's it. The price point has gotten too rich my for blood.

Kaustic Plastik is the eater of wallets and souls. Looks liek they will be showing a full reveal of Chaney Phantom in March. Their Lugosi and Nosferatu are splendid. Still waiting on Horror of Dracula to ship though.

I believe the updated In Stock shipping date for Hammer Dracula/Van Helsing is set for late March 2024. Hopefully it won't be postponed again. Really looking forward to these awesome pieces!
