I think the packaging stinks.  For that price the whole presentation should be gorgeous.

What, no Song of the South? That's a deal breaker for me.

For that much money, it should have been included.

Too rich for my blood! At $15 a movie it is a little cheaper than buying them individually.

I bought a 30 movie set of the "Disney Animated Classics" (no Pixar or made for video movies) from "Snow White" to "Tarzan" (with a few missing) for $30. They are BD-R, but they look and sound great. There is also an unrestored "Song of the South".

I only paid $800 for my first car. For $1500 it better cook my breakfast or something, lol.

I think it is interesting to see this on the heel of them telling us they were getting out of the physical media business.

Was that a properly licensed release?

The box says it's from the Star Entertainment Co. Ltd.

Wiki article says: Star Chinese Channel (Star Ent. is a sub) is a Taiwanese general entertainment television channel operated by The Walt Disney Company (Taiwan) Ltd.

Was it new when you bought it? Did you find it on Ebay?

I bought it new/sealed on eBay. Bought it from a US seller.

The DVD set has "The Sword and the Stone", but not "Beauty and the Beast". The BD set has the opposite.

Now I see a repackaged version of the BD set that has the same movies as the DVD set, but sellers want $100+ for them (DVDs $25).

Neither set had the six '40s package movies, six of the '70s/'80s movies and, for some reason, Pocahontas.
