Pretty amazing! I don't know how the color works. I figured it would come out a solid color and then have to be painted, but no!

Yeah, I've never seen that before.

They also let you have them to some specific scale.  That way you could have your kids scanned once a year and keep an accurate, permanent record of their growth, changing hairstyles, clothing choices, etc.

How neat is that?

They didn't specify.  I imagine they would charge by whatever standard sizes the prints fit within.

The possibilities seem limitless.  In future years when these are more readily available and they start having competition from other sources, the prices will probably fall.
