While I'm thrilled to have JQ on DVD, I really wish these original episodes were not edited for content.

I didn't know they were edited. If they're edited for content, then by definition they're not original episodes and shouldn't be advertised as such.

What empty suit decided to put his greasy fingers into the stew?? Who makes these moronic decisions?? It's not being shown on broadcast TV, so why edit it?? Stupid stupid stupid.

Wolf Man

If anyone is interested Looney Tunes Daffy Duck's Quackbusters is a good compilation of the horror elements of those cartoons.  Available on DVD.  I highly recommend Season one and two of Scooby Doo, lots of Vampire, Werewolf, Frankenstein, Mummy, ghosts, gypsies, and a host of other cool monster type stories.  Really worth it.  Groovy Ghoolies rocks the socks.

The Herculoids always had monsters in them.

I just scored Zandor and Dorno to accompany my Tara, Gloop and Gleep! I have been checking eBay for a not-too-wacky price and reasonable international postage. Yay!

And The Drak Pack was done by Hanna and Barbera.
Those were by Filmation, and they were a spin off of "Archie".

Before the Grusomes, "J. Evil Scientist and Family" appeared in a couple of the Snooper and Blabbermouth cartoon, and even had a few of their own comics. They were clearly inspired by the family Charles Addams created in the New Yorker magazine.
