Last one of these I saw for sale  was about 14 years ago and I passed the listing on to another collector because at the time it was not in my wheelhouse.☹    I regretted  it ever since....until recently.😁.    There must have been a stock find of these because the few Im aware of are all unused with the stylus intact.

Anyways..the Other "Horrorscope"

Amazing! You say they are out there in numbers?

I know of 3 others.   Kirk Hammets,  and 2 members here.  All in similar condition.

Im assuming there was one.  I have no evidence.   Just the fact its a highly disposable item makes me think that.   Most of the unused 60s stuff tednds to have come from stock finds.  But sadly decades ago,☹

Here's a pic of some Mexican monster puppets that were a recent score. I believe they are from the 70's.

Very cool! In the 60s, I received a Noddy puppet and my younger brother received Big Ears. He was insanely jealous that my Noddy had a bell on his hat, so my grandfather sewed a little bell onto Big Ears' hat.

The next Christmas, we put in our order for additional puppets and my youngest brother was old enough to join in. So we requested a ghost, a devil and a witch. My poor grandmother, buying on behalf of Santa, turned the city upside down trying to find a ghost puppet for me. Devils and witches were everywhere! Santa brought me a policeman puppet instead. A sensible pairing for Noddy, I guess.

A few years ago, I found exactly what I'd once envisaged as a "ghost puppet". Of course, the tag is marked: "For decoration only. Not intended as a toy for children." Luckily, I'm no longer a child. (Wanna bet?)

We got in a massive stack of Broadway and off-Broadway theater posters at work a while back, and I finally brought home the 2 I picked out, an early Little Shop of Horrors one for my brotherm which was much cheaper than I expected and my present to myself, a poster from the Edward Gorey designed production featuring Raul Julia of Dracula.  We had one for Frank Langella, also, but the Julia one was the nicer of the 2, and I liked Raul a lot as an actor, so I was happy to get his poster.

Keep in mind, the photo isn't my copy of the poster, it's just the only one I could find of the version I bought.  Mine is pristine!  And these are a readily available frame size, which is nice.

I have a fun story about this. Dracula was the second Broadway show I ever got to see and by that point I was a veteran in that I would make my mom wait outside the theater Stage door after the show so that I might see the actors. Well after the show Mr. Langella came out  of the door with RAUL JULIA! It turns out we caught one of Langella's last performances and, now that I understand how it all works Julia was there to learn the role before his debut.

By the way, Langella's performance in the theater was massive, He had such command of the stage. Terrific role for him. Years later, we were both waiting to audition for THE LATE SHIFT and I got to share who impressed I was , still, 30 years later!

Long story short, my buddy bought out a Doll Museum. When he was contacted, he had no idea it existed just 60 miles away from us. I found a post on Facebook that someone posted and saw that they had an AHI Frank and a Mego Mummy. The AHI Ftank is something I had owned and lost twice in my life, so I told him it was something I wanted. I was crushed when he told me it wasn't there when he went and bought hundreds of items for his shop.

Little did I know, my wife was conspiring with him to get it for me for Christmas. I was so touched, I bought a fantasy box reproduction to keep it safe and display it.

What a beautiful looking figure! Congrats. I'm insanely jealous. AHI Frank is a grail for me.
