Many changes are predicted for the year 2100.  That sounds far away to most of us.

But, how many of our members' children and grandchildren will live to see that world?

In the 1950's, when I was little boy, a million dollars was enough to live a lavish life for a lifetime.  Now most of the older homes in that neighborhood sell for half that amount.  The year 2000 seemed impossibly far away, but now I have passed that mark by nearly a quarter of a century (and still no flying cars whirring overhead.)  I don't like all that much about how the world has changed in my brief stay on earth

If I had a time machine, I would go back to the past, with all its problems.

Who among you are anxious to go forward?  (And, "What 3 books would you take?"
