Would you put the Hatchet series in this category? I really enjoy watching the Hatchet films. Part of the fun is how intentionally schlocky they are. 😃

Well, if we're including films like those, might as well have Species II brought up then.

Basically a 50's Sci-Fi film with raging hormones (complete with blatant reuse of the Godzilla roar).

Haunted hearse

From 2001, "The Lost Skeleton of Cadaver", was a great sendup of 1950s sci-fy films. They did an excellent job doing it as a tongue and cheek sendup of those low budget films, while themselves, working on a very low budget.
