BRICK

I have been searching for a puzzle like this for a long time, with lots of classic horror/sci-fi movie posters; I finally found one at a Homegoods store!

When times are dark, don't consider art to be merely a distraction; rather, think of it as a lifeline-  Neil Gaiman paraphrase.

I did indeed. On the hunt for old Greenie and Spiderman's Helicopter.

I got this at a flea market recently. A really hard to find Mummy pop-up toy. I know someone posted a photo of these somewhere here but I couldn't find them anywhere. Does anyone know how many different monsters they made like this?

He's a pretty good size, too. His head is about two inches tall. Here's a front view...

Is that from the '60s? No examples in our '60s photo archives. There are some different monster pop-ups that look like they use the same mechanism.

I'm pretty sure it is from the '60's. The examples you just showed look like the little charms that someone custom glued to the popping mechanism, but this Mummy I have is bigger and hollow plastic and I remember of someone posting a photo of a Frankenstein years ago that was similar but I don't remember where they posted it. But when they posted it everyone was talking about how rare they were.
