There's always the Reaction JAWS line, Buzzybean.  They even did a Hooper, too.

I have those but those weren't what I would call quality figures. Those were cheap uninspired figures that only looked decent when kept on the card with the Kastel art. These 8" figs were the next evolution of JAWS figs.

The news about no NECA Chief Brody is about as disappointing as every JAWS sequel.

aura of foreboding

You really have to wonder what licensing conflict would come so far into the production of a figure.  Wonder how much money they lost on it?  If I were NECA, I'd be furious and probably quite leery in the future.

Is he gonna have a shark bite on his leg? (Or was it a Moray eel?)

Looks like it was licensing...

Go figure. Roy Scheider's claim to fame was JAWS. The average Joe isn't really aware of any of his other movies. You'd think his widow would be thrilled to see a tribute like this. Big fan of Scheider, but his career went downhill after Blue Thunder. It's a shame, but he never really got the notoriety he deserved. My guess is he picked the wrong parts. He lucked out with JAWS.

Thresher shark, as I recall. I think the tail got him.

Maybe Roy's widow will authorize a Neca ALL THAT JAZZ figure!

He was in The French Connection,Seven Ups and The Sorcerer too. Great movies.

Before he died he was working on a musical based on his shark movie.

Working title was "All That Jawz".

Doh!

Dang, it's been a year already...

Got tired of waiting for BBTS to get in their stock of Denim Hooper, so I killed my preorder and got one from Amok Time. Pretty good likeness, but the difference between the heads is negligible. Prefer the non-smirking one.
