Watched some of those "The Toys That Made Us" episodes on Netflix.

We watched the Hello Kitty, Professional Wrestling, and Star Wars episodes. Gonna watch the GI Joe one soon. Pretty fun show. I'd like to see episodes on Universal Monsters, Godzilla, and Kiss.

Battlefield 2025 (2020) - Trailer

The title and movie poster border on outright fraud. A cheapie that's nowhere close to being as promised.

As good as the series is, there's nothing like the original TV movie!  :)

Van Helsing (2004)

I try to enjoy this as just a fun, over-the-top, superheroesque action fest but it's difficult. Through the whole movie I just keep seeing the extreme dependence on action and special effects at the expense of good story and character development. But, the most annoying thing is the abundance of missed opportunity to tie this to the Universal classics using good story and flashback scenes from the original films. It's okay as a light, action packed monster romp but it could have been so much more.

The saving grace of this film for me is Kate Beckinsale in skintight pants.. ;)
