Picked this up at an antique toy store I'd never been to in Putman Ct last weekend, contents are really nice shape, hooty owl spinner and cardboard insert that says Haunted House holding the game.

Always wanted one of these, I've never even seen one in person.

My local Target must have done an inventory because a bunch of sold out figures just hit the shelves. I picked up the NECA Toony Terrors Michael Myers and the NECA Friday the 13th: A New Beginning Roy Burns mask. I'm really excited about the mask as people have been asking for $90 on eBay.

EDIT: Turns out Target has the masks listed online and they've popped up at another Target in my area, so the find is still exciting for me, just less so. Haha.

Some stuff I've picked up over the last month or so:

15" Stuffins complete set (I think from CVS in 1999) and then the 24" Creature from the same time.

Lowes Monster clings and the larger projections

Got the new Mego Fly.  Gosh he looks nice on that card.  I do wish his human hand was flesh colored, but overall he's very much a winner.

Walmart was cleaned out of G v K figures. This Kong was the only guy left. The figure is not that impressive, but it's only $9 and I think the box is cool. Plus Kong and Godzilla are two of my fav monsters in general, so I'll keep my eyes open for the G-Man figure. But for the price, you're better off paying a few bucks more for the Bandai vinyl figures.

Just got the latest edition of Fury of Dracula, an old Games Workshop Classic.

It's an asymmetric game, with 1 player as Dracula and the other (up to 4) players as the group of 4 hunters.  The game is a chase across Europe, with Dracula's movement being hidden from the rest of the group but kept track of via cards, as the hunters travel about trying to smoke him out and take out any nexts of vampires he tries to cultivate as he travels.  The players take actions that allow them to ask questions about Dracula (Have you been here?  Are you here now? Etc) and otherwise gather bits of information that allow them to narrow down his potential wearabouts.  If they can sniff him out, the fight is on!  Any hunters in the city must do battle with the count in an attempt to whittle him down so they can finally stake him.  But will he escape?  Will they be able to find him again if he does?  It's all very suspenseful.

The only real issue is that it's a fairly complicated game and takes a few hours, but it's been around for 30 years, which is usually a pretty good sign.  I hope to own an original edition some day, but for now, this will certainly do.

Some vintage monster mags I've gotten in the last week. Never been read, newsstand fresh copies of all 4 issues of Modern Monsters. The same for this 1976 one-shot KONG. The 3 Famous Films mags are also unread, but have some minor handling issues. Otherwise like brand new.
