R.I.P. Grandpa Mason

I've been following Mason's story from the beginning ... I know that in many ways, it is a happy ending and that he had almost three wonderful years.  Still sad that he's gone.

But three years ago they were guessing he had only about four more months to live. At least he lived out the string in comfort surrounded by the love and affection of both people and kittens. And of course he became an internet sensation.
