COOL!  That's all of the biggies.  The others aren't that important to me.

So all that needs to be done is to marry these two (with the spine overlap at the top.)

Now, If I can figure out how to shrink all the spines for slim cases, and add tiny white volume numbers to the grey box at the top (I want to file them in order of release dates), I can print them all - and have them on the shelf just as I did when they were VHS's.

I wish I actually knew what I was doing.

This is weird. I didn't make this one yet it somehow ended up in my OneDrive folder. Somehow someone was able to access the folder and add to it and slipped in a tweaked Frankenstein.

Not a bad try whoever did it. For comparison here's mine.

I figured it out. I had shared the link without disabling the option for those with the link to edit the folder. I fixed it! ;)

So one aspect of these covers that I knew would need to be updated eventually was the MCA/Universal logos. I mainly held off on this because I knew if I did this it would require me via my perfectionist attitude to go back and update ALL the covers I've done. Well I finally bit the bullet and did just that. For the sake of discussion though I'm not gonna share them all in this post. If you have access to that OneDrive folder I shared they're all there and updated. Here I'm just gonna do a comparison.

Before.

After.

At least you can read the Home Video part and make out the globe on the side cover logo now! Not to mention the I in Video is more visible in the updated logo(s).

Just came in the mail today! 😁

Man that picture is awesome!

Would make for an awesome avatar/background without the t-shirt
I must insist upon one thing. Under no circumstances are you to go out onto the moors at night.

Graboids!

Happy Halloween!

Two updates. A&C meet Mummy I replaced the back cover still of A&C and Marie Windsor with a scan I found on ebay. The fuzzy iPhone version I had of the photo before is no more! TOL I did a complete redo of the front (and technically the side). I still used the UK DVD cover as the base but combined it with a scan of a French VHS cover to extend the artwork to the side cover and also give the bottom slightly more lift!

Also got a newbie here. A&C meet Jekyll & Hyde!

Well there aren't any in that vid I haven't seen before! ;)

Nice visuals, but there had to be a more appropriate choice for the music.

My attempt at removing the logo using the original still.

Monsters For Sale

I am really appreciating that Scream Factory is releasing Blu-Ray editions of the minor Universal Horrors on single discs in their "Collections" series.  I like to split them up in separate, slim-line cases and file them alphabetically with all my other Horror/Sci-Fi/Fantasy films.

Right now, I am using plain white paper for case covers.  Oh, how I wish some enterprising, talented, highly motivated sole would design individual case art that could be used by the collectors like me who are hopeless in such matters.

What Scream has given us (or announced) so far:

There must be some collector out there who is thinking along the lines of tackling this project.  If there were only some way to get in contact with him/her.

I did make this cover for the volume one set using the VHS covers but the only place I shared it I got one response and it was how they 'much prefer the original posters over those cheesy 90s covers' or however they put it. Not to mention given how some of the films in the new sets never had a VHS release I never proceeded with the other covers. But anyways here's the one I did.
