The Skeletor one is.....$45.00.  These are debuting at New York Comic Con but should be available online too.  I want the Crimson Ghost but I don't know if I can justify the price.

I just noticed they listed the price for the paper people, finally. $25 each. Still pricey for sure but a LOT better than $45.

I'd like to see something along the lines of the Glenn Strange Candy Bucket from the '60s done for the Creature bucket instead of the same anime inspired cute product most companies turn out today.

Me too! Where can I get one?  ;D

How jazzed does the average consumer get over a Mego Alice from the Brady Bunch figure? Or Norm from Cheers?

Not very.....

Where did you see this?

Lot of good points. I grew up in the 90's, so my first Universal Monsters toys, cups, etc were often pretty stylized too. So perhaps that's why some of these new products don't bother me as much. I remember being really young, and going to Pizza Hut with my parents when they had their Universal Monsters cups, and constantly using the Dracula one I got. At the time, it didn't dawn on my just how little it looks like Bela, but I digress. I guess my point of view is that getting Universal Monsters merchandise out there, and exposing them to new consumers who might have little if any knowledge of the characters, is a good thing (though obviously I think some stuff is dumb enough that it actually hurts the brand). I'm a big fan of Batman and the DC superheroes too, and from seeing some of their merchandise in stores, it does just seem like there's a modern trend towards really stylized takes on characters. That said, I definitely understand the frustration when some of the merchandise released just doesn't look that good, especially since relatively little comes out.

The 6 universal monsters reaction figures including card art...

Those cards look great, but where's Frankie and Drac?

I guess in series 2 with bride and invisible man maybe???

I don't think much of the Reaction figures themselves.
I must buy these for the card art!  Same for the Con versions recently released.
The card-head j-peg art on those, from the same artist, really grabs me!
Takes me back to seeing those FM covers on newsstands, and eagerly grabbing them with both claws!

All but 1 of those figures was announced. The 1 figure not announced was wishfully assumed to be a Drac figure that was still being negotiated, but now was apparently the Phantom. Either that or the negotiation fell through and they had this one ready just in case.
