Guess this will be good news to collectors.

Super 7 has announced a partnership with FYE, and some of their stores will begin carrying Super 7 products! It's not mentioned which products specifically they will carry. Traditionally, Super 7 items are distributed by Diamond Comics for sale in comic shops. If that is any indication, FYE will likely carry their M.U.S.C.L.E., ReAction and some of their vinyl collectibles as well as their non-toy collectibles. Currently, there are 29 locations with more to be added. See the details below.

Super7 is happy to announce our partnership with FYE is now in 29 of their stores in the U.S.. Each of these stores has a Super7 curated section featuring a selection of our toys, drinkware, and apparel! The Super7 section can be found at the FYE locations in these cities:

I'm super excited for this line of monster goodness. Wonder when it will start trickling in.

When I started this thread I was best case expecting some more variants of the previously produced UM ReAction figures. I never could have hoped for new sculpts including the Mutant and Mole People. And I certainly never imagined all the other cool stuff Super 7 intends to release in the relatively near future. I sure hope most of this stuff makes it out there. And I really hope the 3.75" line is very successful to allow for future waves (similar to what Sideshow did in the larger format).

In addition to the monsters that have never been done (or done well) in this scale such as the previously mentioned Mutant and Mole People as well as the Hunchback, Dr. Jeckyll & Mr. Hyde (from A&C) and others, imagine a (Edward Van Sloan) Van Helsing figure thrown into one of the waves.  Or perhaps a Doctor Muller.

Alternatively, let's get real crazy in the fantasy department. A "Rita" play set (with exclusive Kay & David Reed figures). A "Gypsy Camp" play set (with exclusive Meleva and Larry Talbot (or Bela) figures). A Frankenstein's laboratory play set (exclusive Henry Frankenstein, Dr. Pretorius and/or Ygor figure).

All of my 6 year old dreams come true. Hope they sell well.

Your idea for the playsets, especially the Rita, need to be hand delivered to the desk of whoever's in charge of production at Super7. Love it!

If these wouldve been made when we were kids....and a Rita were produced...can you honestly say it wouldn't have made its way to either the bathtub or the swimming pool at some point? Much the way a Mole Person would've made it to the Sandbox, lol.

I had mentioned that earlier in this thread... But even before that I had contacted SideShow Toys back when they released their 8" figures about doing playsets. However, I recommended that they call them "character-specific, interactive dioramas" , so they would sound more adult and collectible!

Oh, I have been demanding play sets for as long as I have been part of the UMA.  I'm just waiting for someone to listen...  *cough* Super7 *cough*  Let's hope they get the job done, so I can shut up already.   ;D

I'll take a 3 3/4 scale PSYCHO Mrs Bates figure. ;D

I think the future of playsets is in puzzle sets packaged with the figures, like the Playmates Trek bridge or Young Justice HoJ. These early examples suffered from a lack of execution which is the key to success. They don't have to be big, they just have to be accessible and complete. This is a completely new way of making affordable playsets that the industry has not yet mastered.

I can honestly say if they made a Rita tomorrow mine would absolutely find its way to a bathtub or pool (that's why I'd buy 2). I really believe a quality Rita would be a really big hit at this scale. It would be affordable and not insanely enormous. Speaking in a purely business sense I think a Rita is a financially viable playset (especially if they actually make it able to float  :)

As much as I would like to see the Rita, I would much rather have a Frankenstein's lab, Dracula's castle or the great chamber from The Mummy's Hand!  :)

Yeah. Couldn't they make anything better than that stinking barge? LOL

But seriously...Frankenstein's lab with an elevating table and light/sound electrical equipment? Now you're talking.
