The original OUTER LIMITS and THE PRISONER are my two top favorite shows of all time. I missed out getting the PRISONER Blu Rays and now they cost mucho bucks on Ebay. I won't make that mistake with these.

I've been noticing that the Amazon price for the Australian All-Region single-sided DVD set of OL has been dropping.  It is now at $60 - about $20 less than it was a few days ago.  I was getting tempted to replace my old, skip-prone double-sided discs set.

Now I know to hold off for the Blu-Ray.

DVD Drive-In review for the new The Paul Naschy Collection Blu-ray set from Scream Factory:

The short version is that this is a must-have set for Naschy fans. The five BDs offer a big improvement in picture quality and extras not found on the BCI DVD versions. Also, there are special features on some of the BCI DVDs not included on this set so hang on to those old DVDs (I planned to anyway since I collect this stuff). I anxiously await my copy which should be showing up soon from Diabolik. Can't wait to dive into these.

I just watched the restored Son of Dracula, and I am not sure if it is the clarity of the print or I just never noticed it before; but you can clearly see that Dr. Brewster, when treating the child who had been bitten, is painting crucifixes over the bite marks. Just little touches like that that make these films so special.

DVD Drive-In (http://www.dvddrive-in.com/) is reporting that Olive Films will release "The Vampire's Ghost" and "Return of the Ape Man" on DVD and BR in Oct.

I hope "The Vampire's Ghost" release leads to more Republic horror features on DVD/BR!

Be nice to have a good copy of ROTAM, too!

Has anybody seen this film from last year?  Is it worth Amazon's pre-order price of $11.19?  Some of the Aussie accents sound a little thick.  Was the dialog hard to understand?  Do they play Christmas music during the horrific bits, or was that just added to the trailer? 

Yes, that is the same Dee Wallace that was in "Cujo".  She has dropped her married name of Stone.
