I just picked up this oddity:

(Click on picture to see larger image.)

It is a chromed Frankenstein Finger Puppet.  This is the only chromed version of the larger monster charms/finger puppets I have ever seen.  I did not know that ANY of the finger puppets were issued in a Silver color.

At first, I assumed that I was buying a painted puppet.  But after carefully inspecting the thing in person, I can say that it was definitely chromed.  It even has some of the metallic discoloration that only happens with such figures and never with the painted ones.

I believe it was issued just as it appears.  It even has the exact dopey orange-ish/red lip paint that perfectly matches all my other vintage charms.

Anyone else have Silver Monster Finger Puppets?

Nice card with some really neat monsters!

If I could find a vending machine like that, I would change all my money into nickels.

Just an eBay pic.  :(

Well, they must be rare.

The guy who reprinted the vending cards for his gumball machines and had a very large collection of the finger puppets did not have one - and Toyranch did not have a picture of one in his collection.

In 25 years of collecting, it is the first chromed Frankenstein Finger Puppet I have encountered.  (If I ever saw a chromed Creature Finger Puppet, I have forgotten it, because I don't collect other characters.)

You see a lot more chromed pencil toppers, that's for sure.

I know a collector who has this card, and look at ALL the lovely monsters.

On this card what would you call the one right of the pirate?
