I am hoping to keep this collection going.   I never dreamed that these heads would be so kick arse kool.

Wow! These are bad-a**!

although the rubber eraser type heads are by far the most common - i like them better than the plastic ones because of their detail.

edit: i dont own any of the painted charms - but looking through this thread - there are definitely different molds being used - whether its in regards to size or detail i can find it most noticeable on franky.

also looks the painted franky plastic pencil toppers & rubber ones might be from the same mold?
looking for vhs recordings of tnt's monstervision with joe bob briggs

in this case the green franky looks way better than the other two plastic charms.

As for the small Frankenstein pencil toppers:

The rubber Franks have a nice AHI look to them.

The earlier hard Franks are smooth, with little detail:

The later hard plastic Franks have a more chiseled, angular (blocky) look.

I just wonder if they weren't looking at this when they did that?

I think I detect a hair piece on the carded Mummy, too.

The larger heads of Skull, Frankenstein, and King Kong, are from Wear A Weirdo Necklaces.

ALWAYS MONSTERING...

Oh, that's why 3 sizes!

Besides the 3 shown and a werewolf, were there any other W-a-W necklaces?

Those four are the only ones I know of.

I thought I had a complete set MIP by the header card and then, via UMA, I found out there was a Skull. Still haven't picked up one of those. Ah, the troublesome path of the monster toy collector... can't even trust the packaging.  ;D

If I ever pick up a Skull I'll find out there is a fifth one...and so on, ad infinitum.  :D

And no matter how many different colors, or paint schemes you see them in, you'll never know if you've seen them all.

I've never seen a comprehensive list of all the various monster finger puppets.

Of course, there were more than monsters in their line.  There were also pirates, natives and dogs.

WOW, ARE those puppet cards YOURS?

Some of the paint schemes have interesting variations.  My favorite dumb choice is the addition of a toupée on some of the Creatures.

Love the gold plated Creature!

How many different sizes are there? Looks like 3, or 4.

Mike, the small pencil toppers are just under 1 inch, the bigger Pencil toppers and Puppet heads are the same size at just about 1 1/2.    I confused you there by showing my Bigger half heads, Skull, Kong and FRank, those guys are Wierdo Necklaces.      so only 2 sizes for the hard plastic.     The Necklaces are soft plastic and hollow.

I got them from someone who bought a couple non-Frankenstein finger puppets from me.  I bought a small lot that contained some Frankensteins that I wanted.  He purchased my excess for more than my total original cost.  (Free Franks for me.)

He was collecting/restoring vending machines and printed the new copies of the old vending cards.  He shared these pictures with me at that time.

No, I don't have his contact info - that was many years ago.

Great information.    All your excess was somebody else's gold.   Its great that he reprinted the cards, and thank you for sharing the pictures, its nice to see all those different charms and the way he lays them out on the card, every fingertip sports a monster!
