Was wondering if anyone here bought the Moleman charm on ebay today?

It was an UMA member. I'm sure he'll chime in, if he sees this.

Thanks, Mike.  Obviously supply and demand played a huge part here, but was wondering if this was extremely unique as I have never seen this mole in this color.

Somebody really wanted that one.

I've seen quite a few monster charms of that style go for$50-$60 ea.  Can't recall one that high.

Once I saw some bids I was thinking $50 as well.  Cool charm.  I thought it was a Metaluna at first glance due to the color.

I can't say I've even seen a Mole Man, before? But, I don't search for MM, either.

Bobby has one in his set.  I believe Andy has or least had one or more as well.  Bobby's is still pictured on this thread and is painted brown.  It is the first one I have seen on ebay.

There was a set of the bigger heads that are more sought after and much more expensive.  They look a little like the pencil toppers, but fatter, and have larger holes in the bottom.  They were intended to be used as hanging charms or finger puppets.

The big ones included Mole Man, Metaluna Mutant, and Creature as well as non monster heads.

A complete set would be expensive.

I have a few of those.  The Franky is a bit puffy looking because of the size of the hole, but the pencil one is excellent.

The MM wasn't a record price. This Mutant sold for $162 in 2014.

Another unusual color.

These things were almost always cast in Black, Brown, Very dark Blue or Dark Green and then painted.

I can't remember ever seeing  them cast in Orange or Yellow before - but then I usually didn't encounter charms unless they were in a lot containing a Frankenstein.

I've seen an orange Creature. It was a solid color, so I figured it was cast that color.

Gots a Creature and a Mole Man!

And a good-looking Mummy.  But I think what you are calling a Mole Man is actually a Mutant.)

(The Kongs are dirt common.)
