Friday the 13-part II(1981)
That is my absolute favorite Friday the 13th film by a country mile! It doesn't have the cornball humor of the successors.

Burn, Witch, Burn!(1962)
Day Of the Triffids(1963)

Does anyone have a good copy of Day of the Triffids?  Does one even exist?

Mine, too. I also dig part III. Only because Jason donned the iconic hockey mask for the first time.

Yeah, but I thought the one-eyed potato sack was creepier (though, not as iconic as the hockey mask). It reminded me of the look of the killer in "The Town that Dreaded Sundown" (another fave).

I like this film, but still prefer the original. You?

It was okay. The original is so much better.

Carrie (2013)

I haven't seen this.  I hope they re-did the opening shower scene.

Similar, not exactly the same.

Just got done watching An American Werewolf in London again, but this time I turned on the feature commentary with cast members David Naughton and Griffin Dunne.
