Just watched the following episodes:

In Search of History: Legends of the Werewolves

Mystery Quest: Return of the Amityville Horror

I love these kinds of shows. I have a couple of these dvd sets. Cool stuff about Jack the Ripper, vampire legends, Area 51, Bermuda Triangle etc.

Well, these are good documentaries typical of what we expect from high quality History Channel shows. All are entertaining and informative but the one that really shines is The Haunted History Of Halloween. This one has become a Halloween classic. History Channel used to show it several times during October but in the last few years it gets shown less and less. For me it's must-see Hween viewing. It's probably still on You Tube but you can't depend on that. I'm glad to have the DVD so I'm sure not to miss it and I can watch it anytime (especially on or near Halloween).

I also have these which I can similarly recommend:

Heck yeah I remember that. Used to love that show when I was kid. It was like Jacques Cousteau for monster kids. The box set is pretty affordable on Amazon, but it's like 150 episodes. That's kind of a big commitment.
